Our fully qualified MOT testers mean we can usually test at short notice during working hours. We test class 4 and class 7 vehicles.

Our specialist diagnostic technician has over 25 years' experience, backed by two technicians with 10 years each.

We've invested in a wide range of software and diagnostic tools, so we can trace engine management and electrical faults on almost any car. We also have main dealer level equipment for Ford, Vauxhall, VW, Mercedes, BMW, Mini and Volvo.

Diagnostics in detail

We service all makes of car and van, and look after fleets for local businesses.

Choose from a full service, small service, oil service, safety check or winter check. You get a service check sheet with any advisories.

We stock a range of oil grades, including fully synthetic low-ash oils for engines with a diesel particulate filter.

We fit and balance tyres on all cars and vans, and keep a good stock of the most common 14-inch to 18-inch sizes. We carry several brands and can order any brand you want.

We repair punctures where it's safe to do so, and repair or replace exhaust systems on all makes and models.

Our technicians are trained and up to date to work on the latest electric and hybrid vehicles.

A remap can increase your vehicle's power and torque, and improve fuel economy.

Remapping in detail

No job is too big or too small. We handle electrical repairs, clutches, suspension, coolant systems, fan belts, timing/cam belts and chains, welding, wheel bearings, driveshafts, catalytic converters, door locks, keys, windows, windscreens, and tracking and wheel alignment.

We service and re-gas air conditioning on nearly all cars and vans, including the R1234yf gas used on most modern vehicles.

We can also leak-test the system and repair or replace any faulty parts.

We have specialist injector pulling equipment with a wide range of adapters, so we can remove seized injectors from a huge range of vehicles.

If you can't get the vehicle to us, we offer a call-out service by special arrangement.

Blocked diesel particulate filters are an increasingly common problem.

As well as repair and replacement, we offer DPF cleaning as a cheaper alternative to a new filter.

We repair bodywork on nearly all makes and models of car and van.

We've dealt with a large range of insurers and can help with accident repair claims.

We know a breakdown can disrupt work and family life, so we keep a range of courtesy cars. They're mostly small manual cars that are easy to drive.

Courtesy cars go to longer jobs first, but you can usually reserve one by arrangement. There's currently no charge. We ask you to sign a form on collection and return the car clean, tidy and with some fuel in it.
